Trying to do some spring cleaning? Dumpster Days are April 18 & 19!

Location: Public Works Yard, 335 Vine Circle

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Accepted Items:

- Household items

- Electronics (TVs, Cell Phones, Computers, etc.)

- Refrigerators/Freezers (with no freon)

- Paint

- Fire Extinguishers

- Propane Tanks

- Mattresses/Furniture

- Tires

- Oil (Used and Un-used)

NOT Accepted Items:

-Construction Materials such as wood, carpet, flooring, shingles, decking, concrete, etc.

-Tree stumps or Root Balls

- Hazardous chemicals – Asbestos, paint thinners, lawn chemicals, mercury products, rechargeable batteries, other items that are Toxic (harmful if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed), Flammable (can catch fire easily), Corrosive (can eat through materials or skin), Reactive (can explode or release toxic fumes when mixed). The City will recycle fuel and oil. If recycling any equipment containing fuel or oil, remove the fuel and oil from the equipment.

- Any type of drum that is sealed (one end must be off or holes drilled in the drum and no material within)

- Goods containing refrigerant

- Medical Waste

Remember! To use dumpsters, you must show a current utility bill or proof that you are an existing City of Social Circle utility customer or tax bill.
